    The voltage is 220 V with 50 Hz For North American electrical equipment, please bring 110V to 
    220V converters.

   Language :-
    The official language is Arabic. However, most locals who are active in tourism speak English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian as well.
 
   Health :-

    At present time no vaccinations are required. However, it is advisable to be vaccinated against
    Polio, Hepatitis-A and Tetanus. Your first aid kit should include medication to against diarrhea.
    Due to the high temperatures and the resulting dehydration it is  highly recommended to drink
    at least 4 liters of water a day.

 
   Climate :-

    The best time to go to Egypt is in spring and fall though it can get a little cool at night. During
    the summer months July and August it is hot, but there is less wind than during the winter 
    months. However, according to experiences, the view under water is best in summer and fall.

  Restaurants :-

    Most of the holiday makers stay in big hotels which offer an international menu. If you get hungry
    at any time there are beach bars in every hotel which offer hamburgers,  pasta or sandwiches.
    Those who would like to taste the Egyptian cooking should not hesitate to dine in a typical
    restaurant, at reasonable prices . The different dishes are real tasty , though sometimes they are 
    a little fatty. Fried chicken liver, parsley salad,  falafel or the national dish foul  (green beans) are
    on the menu. If you wish, with tahina (sesame sauce) or babaganoug (mashed egg-plant with garlic). 
    For better digestion sweet black tea is served after meals.

  Getting There :-

    Depending on the season, charter flights to Egypt cost approx. EUR 310, There are direct flights from
    European airports to Sharm el Sheikh and Cairo. Scheduled flights to Cairo with connection flights to
    Sharm el Sheikh or Hurghada start at EUR 400 from Europe and US$ 950,00 from the US .
    With most airlines, up to 20 kg of luggage are free and for diving equipment there is usually
    no extra charge. The return flight should be reconfirmed before departure .

  Entry & Visa :-

    Upon arrival, your passport has to be valid at least for another six months. At the airport you 
    can receive a tourist visa for US $ 15.

    The national currency is the Egyptian Pound (L.E.). Currently one Egyptian Pound is EUR 0,25
    May 2002. Banks and exchange offices at the hotels accept Traveler  Checks.
